FAQs

 Acorn

What all does Acorn do?

Essentially, Acorn allows you to install, enable, and disable Squirrelmail plugins all through a web-based interface. It has a built-in file editor, so you won't ever have to go to the command line to configure a plugin.

What do I need to run Acorn?

Acorn is a plugin for DirectAdmin, so any system running DirectAdmin and Squirrelmail with at least one domain set up should be able to run it. Acorn has no additional dependencies and is compatible with Squirrelmail v1.4x.

 Exim Editor

What does Exim Editor allow me to do?

Essentially, Exim Editor gives you more control over how mail is handled on your server without ever having to go to the command line. Many things such as RBL settings, user mail limits, spam filtering and antivirus can be set.

Most settings are available as simple options on a form, but for those that would prefer to manually tweak their configuration, there's even a built in file editor that will check your exim configuration and ensure that it will run before saving.

What are the system requirements?

As a plugin for DirectAdmin, Exim Editor should run on any system that meets DirectAdmin's minimum requirements.
